Product visuals before the samples arrive.

Giant Entity builds your product in 3D, from CAD files or from samples and photos, and makes the product renders, a short CGI film and the cut-downs for each channel from that one model. Norik Imami leads the work in London. With CAD files, your launch images can be ready before the final samples are, and when something changes later, we render it again.

Who it is for

Marketing leads and product teams with a launch date to hit. It suits a product that is still in production, one that comes in several colourways, or one whose packaging changes often enough that a new photoshoot each time adds up. It also suits an e-commerce team that needs the same product in many crops and sizes, all matching.

We take on brand work case by case, and we say so early if a project is not one we can take.

What you get

  • Product renders in the colourways you choose, lit and finished for where they will run.

  • A short CGI film of the product, made from the same model, so the film and the stills match.

  • Cut-downs for e-commerce and social, in the sizes each channel needs.

  • The 3D model and every file we make, yours to keep, built true to the product's materials and colourways. A new colourway next season starts from work you already own.

Rounds of feedback are agreed in the written scope, before any work starts.

How it runs

  1. The call.

You tell us the product, the launch date and where the visuals will run. Norik is on the call, so you can ask about materials, finishes and files with the person who will build it.

  2. The written scope.

We write down the renders, the colourways, the film, the cut-downs and the rounds of feedback, and you agree it before we begin.

  3. The model.

We build the product from your CAD files, or from samples and photos if there are no files, and match its finishes to your references.

  4. A weekly look.

Each week you see the renders as far as they have got, so a wrong edge or a colour that is slightly off gets caught early.

  5. Handover.

The finished renders, the film and the cut-downs go to you in the sizes agreed, with the model and the source files.

  6. Keep, if needed.

If your range changes often, we can keep the model up to date under a monthly arrangement, but only when there is something to keep.

What to bring

  • CAD files, if you have them
  • Samples or photos, if you do not
  • Your launch date, and where the visuals will run: the product page, social, adverts or print
  • Colour references or swatches for each colourway
  • Your brand guidelines and any ad sizes you already know you need

An example

This is an illustration of how the work runs, not a past project.

A kitchen appliance is launching in several colourways, and the final samples are weeks away. From the CAD files we build one model and match its finishes to the colour references. We render the hero shots and the e-commerce set in every colourway, then make a short CGI film of the product turning in the light, cut down for the product page and for social. Late in the project the lid is redesigned. We change the model and render the set again, with no reshoot.

Questions about 3D product visuals

Can you make renders without a physical sample?

Yes, if you have CAD files: we build the model from the files, so the renders can be ready before any sample exists. Without CAD files we work from samples or good photos instead.

What happens when the packaging or a colour changes?

We update the model and render again. Every image comes from the one model, so a change does not mean a new shoot.

Can the same model be used for AR?

Yes, it can be prepared so people see the product through their phone camera. For that it has to be built light enough to run smoothly and still look right up close, which is Norik's specialism. We agree it in the scope.

How many rounds of feedback do we get?

As many as the written scope says, and we agree that number with you before any work starts.

Do you do product photography or live action video?

No. We make CGI from the 3D model: renders, motion and animation. We do not run photo or film crews.

Who owns the model?

You do. The model and every file we make for you are yours to keep, ready for the next colourway.

When is the launch?

Tell us the product and the date you cannot move. Norik will be on the call.
