Find out why people miss you, then fix it.

A site and search audit tells you why customers are not finding your business on search engines or in AI assistants, and what to fix first. We check the site you have, whoever built it, rank the fixes by what matters most, and make them if you want us to. Rron Imami leads it. It is a small first step, and it often answers the bigger question of whether you need a new site at all.

Who it is for

For owners and marketing leads who suspect the website is costing them enquiries. Usually one of these is true:

  • Customers tell you they searched for you and could not find you, or found an old address.
  • Enquiries from the website have dropped, and you do not know whether the site is the cause.
  • You are about to pay for a new site and want to know what to keep and what to fix first.
  • People now ask AI assistants for recommendations, and you want to know what they say about you.

It suits growing businesses whose site was built some years ago by someone who has since moved on.

What you get

  • A plain-English report, page by page, of what search engines and AI assistants can and cannot read, with the fixes ranked by what matters most.

  • Page titles and descriptions checked, the lines people see in search results, with rewrites where they are missing or repeated.

  • Structured data checked

This is the code that tells search engines who you are, where you are and what you offer.

  • Speed and settings

Whether pages load fast and carry real text, and whether your settings let search engines and AI assistants in.

  • Your business details compared, so your name, address and what you do read the same on the site and in your business listings.

  • A baseline of how AI assistants describe your business, from the same questions asked many times over, because their answers change from one asking to the next, so a single answer tells you little.

  • The fixes made, if you want them, then the checks run again so you can see what changed.

What we do not promise

Rankings. Search engines decide where a site appears, and an AI assistant rarely gives the same list of businesses twice. Google's own guidance says that working well in its AI features is still ordinary search optimisation, so the audit sticks to what holds: pages that can be read, accurate details, clear answers to your customers' questions, and measurement you can repeat.

How it runs

  1. A call with Rron about who you expect to find you, and what you have noticed going wrong.

  2. A written scope before any work starts, naming what we will check, who will do it and when the report arrives.

  3. The audit. Read access to Search Console, Google's tool that shows how your site appears in search, helps. Without it, we work from the public site.

  4. The report, talked through on a call so the fixes make sense to whoever will make them.

  5. The fixes, if you want them, as a sprint: a fixed piece of work with one named outcome. If the site needs replacing, that becomes a website design and build project with its own scope.

The report is yours either way, like every file we make. More on how a project runs.

What to bring

  • The address of your website, and any other sites or domains you own.
  • The searches you would expect customers to type, in their words rather than yours.
  • The businesses you lose work to, if you know them.
  • Search Console or analytics access, if you have it, or the name of whoever set the site up.
  • Anything that changed recently: a new site, a new domain, a move, a new name.

An example

This is an illustration, not a client. A firm's website uses one page title everywhere, so search results show the same line for its home page and its contact page. Its address on the site differs from the one in its business listing. The services page is a single image with the text inside it, so nothing there can be read. And the settings file that tells automated visitors where they may go blocks more than anyone intended.

The ranked fixes would run in this order: open the settings, put the services text on the page as real text, make the address match, then write a distinct title for each page. None of it needs a new site. To see sites built to be read from the start, look at the sites Rron has built.

When the problem is inside the business

Sometimes the site is fine and the trouble starts after an enquiry arrives. The matching first step there is process mapping with Dorotea, who leads our workflow and automation work. If the brand itself is the issue, see brand identity.

Questions

What does a site and search audit include?

It includes a page-by-page check of what search engines and AI assistants can read on your site, a ranked list of fixes, and a baseline of how AI assistants describe your business. It covers titles and descriptions, structured data, speed, crawler settings and your business details.

Can you audit a website you did not build?

Yes. The audit works on any site, whoever built it and whatever it runs on. We read the public site, plus Search Console if you can share access.

Will an audit get us to the top of Google?

No. Search engines decide rankings, and we do not promise them. The audit makes sure nothing on your side stops the site being found and read, and measures how often you appear, so you can see whether the fixes worked.

What is GEO, and do we need it?

GEO, or generative engine optimisation, is a newer name for making a site easy for AI assistants to read and quote. Most of it is the same work as good search optimisation, which Google's own guidance confirms, so the audit covers both at once.

Do you need our passwords?

No. Read access to Search Console, given from your own account, is enough, and we can work from the public site without it. If we make the fixes, the scope sets out the access that needs.

What happens after the audit?

You keep the report, whatever you decide. Make the fixes yourself, hand them to whoever looks after your site, or ask us to make them.
